If he was black, all of us on "the right" and in the gun community would be just as supportive of his acquittal. And frankly I don't think he'd have even been charged if he was black (he shouldn't have been charged at all and the only reasons he was is because he was 1. white, 2. not a leftist and 3. killed the foot-soldiers of the left 4. with an AR15).

The only racists are on the left.

Just look at how many people assumed from all they had been told that the "victims" were black. I've seen multiple versions of "And then I saw pictures of the dead men and I didn't understand, they were white?"

Yesterday I took my truck to the shop. In the lobby, I announced the jury was coming in ... probably with a verdict.

One man didn't know what "jury" I was referencing.

"The Kyle Rittenhouse trial."

"Oh yeah. He killed some black guys."

"No. Four of his five attackers were white. The two he killed, and the one he wounded, were white." (I call the guy who hit Kyle with the shopping bag-as-weapon an attacker, too.)

In the end, I am sorry for the kid. He is going to have to live with this the rest of his life. I hope that he will get quality counseling and that he will avoid the celebrity that will certainly be pushed on him.
