With the difficult time we live in it is easy to overlook the many blessings we all have in our lives. While we should remember to give thanks for these blessings throughout the year, we rarely do so. Today, I ask that each of you take a moment to consider your blessings. They may or may not be plentiful, but they are there.

Last month my wife, daughter son-in-law and I all contracted COVID, but we have all recovered. My son is now going through COVID and my wife brought him to stay with us so that we might see to his care and recovery. She is especially thrilled having him at home - even under the circumstances. I have no doubt that he will recover soon and will be able to go back out and conquer the world in his way. I'm particularly thankful for the overall health and security that my family and I are blessed to experience. I'm thankful for my friends and family, including those here within this online community. The value you all bring to my life adds to my blessings.

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

My hope for all of you is that, today and going forward, you get to experience the joy of loved ones and having "enough". Enough love, health and comfort to continue on your journeys.

Best wishes to all for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I drove home from the western slope last evening in time to smoke a turkey with family today. Should be ready in a couple of hours....
