There's nothing really funny about some Qanon believing, post wall chick with a fat ass and 6 pounds of fakeup posing in a dress meant for someone in better shape, with a guy who cheats on his wives, abuses the bankruptcy courts, feeds into the hyperdivisive narrative of CNN and doesn't even know what due process actually is. Anyone who voted for either Biden or Trump is a part of the problem, and likely doesn't care about fixing problems, only about hurting the other side. This isn't the country I grew up in, fought and bled for, or hoped to have a family in. Now it's just petty snowflakes from both sides waving their pricks around trying to prove how horrible both sides are. The saddest part is that each side is right, the Democrats and the Republicans are both evil incarnate seeking to destroy freedom and need to be scrubbed from this Earth. And no, I didn't vote for either bowl of crap. The only time I voted for either major party was in 2004 when I was still in the army and figured I'd give W the benefit of the doubt to get us out of two wars. Big mistake in retrospect, and probably one I'll regret until the day I die, which hopefully will be soon.

And I'd really take issue with your physical description of Boebert. If you're going to rant, at least try to show a little objectivity. Anyway, what does one's physical appearance have to do with anything. You go off on some fucking rant about all the hate and divisiveness by using hate and divisiveness. I'm really unimpressed with the discussion here. A lot of insults and offhand dismissals, but not a lot of people here seem capable or willing to come up with a cogent counterargument. If you have anything thoughtful or measured to add, this is a forum for exactly that. If you'd rather it be an echo chamber, then the previous posts are a great start in that direction.

Some people view their vote as an expression of their values and beliefs, rather than simply a choice between two likely options. JTP80's choice to not cast a vote for someone he didn't believe in shows a lot more conviction than the vote of a person willing to slurp up whatever crap is set down in front of them. I voted libertarian in the two elections prior to the last one. I knew that my candidate wouldn't win. But I'm proud that I voted for what I truly thought was best for the country. Telling people that "any vote outside of the 2 parties is a wasted vote" is the #1 way to guarantee that nothing ever changes in this country. If we had a principled articulate 3rd party candidate like a Justin Amash in the presidential debates, the other 2 parties would have to field candidates who actually knew something. They have zero impetus to field real candidates right now, because people like most of y'all here are going go in 100% for whatever useful idiot they trot out.
