The Great Kazoo's Feedback

Reddit is a cesspool of largely young, wanna be socialist, liberals around the globe. So yeah, their definition of "rich" is going to be very skewed.
There are some sub-reddits where you can avoid this, but the majority of the "common sub-reddits" and the front page is inundated with nothing but deluded liberalism.
It is truly astounding to read some of the comments that ALWAYS percolate to the top, and realize that these people truly believe it. As an example, I just saw something where the general consensus was that the Republicans were guilty of having targeted the schools and school board positions for the last 60 years. Something that is very easily proven to have been the liberal left, but they believe it. Because Vice, CNN, or some other even more flagrantly slanted "news" source printed an op-ed that said so.
It really is the definition of an echo chamber.
After reading a bit on that link, I find that a lot of that is the difference from not really making it from paycheck to paycheck and those that have a job with benefits. There are a few uber rich ideas like having a maid/butler, etc.
Reddit has some good areas that I find useful. I have joined one area dealing with an odd but powerful networking switch I own. Another area is casual info from an area that I use to live.
Now; you are not wrong that may/most social sub-reddit groups are pure echo chamber trash and and the goal is I can show more hate about that subject than you can.

I always wanted a rope ladder and fire pole in my house. Trampoline and zip-line may be fun as well.

I visit reddit for the pictures, that's how I found this and many other gems:

There's no way to reference the age or country the commenters are in or from. I can relate to doing math in the grocery store, taking care of the hand me down clothes and reading the menu right to left.
Being poor varies by country. One of my Indian coworkers would talk about sleeping 5 to a room, on the floor with a mat as his cover. The mat folds up to make their seat. Guests got the "extra plush" mat.
Child labor, keeping the rats off you at night, wondering if you're going to eat that week is sadly the reality for a large percent of the world's population.

You can't beat a woman who shoots - RW Swainson
It's a typical clickbait article imho. Imagine if they cherry picked random comments in the 1950's schools and made a news story out of it.
"Children have turned into homicidal lunatics at school!"
"Virgins think sex involves a pee pee and a butt"
Luckily they had to actually have a story to publish one back in the day....
