20 years ago we drove from Hilo to mauna Kea in February. 80s in Hilo to 20s and snow. About an hour drive.

I was complaining about the lack of rainfall this summer. Well....that changed in a big way. With the record rainfall and flooding in the PNW, I guess we're getting your moisture. Rainier is completely white down to the lower 3-4,000 feet.
