Another Road Rage Turned Deadly

I'm tired of this "everything is attempted murder" attitude from motorcyclists who ride like a$$holes. There is ALWAYS a common denominator with these 2-wheeled 'tards... Their own arrogance and stupidity... I ride a LOT and I have zero respect for those who are always the "victim" while on 2 wheels...

Preach it, Brother. I'm another long-time rider (39 years) who has no patience with motorcyclists who act like assholes on the grounds that "cage drivers are out to kill us!"

My thought is: If you're that scared of car drivers, stay off the road.

Funny thing, within the past 5 days I had two incidents where people who should have seen me pulled right into my lane of traffic nearly causing an accident. Both incidents happened during the daylight.

In one of them I was driving my wife's Honda CR-V and in the other one I was driving my bright red (fire-engine red) F-150.

My point here is that it's not that people "have it in" for motorcycles, it's that there are a lot of bad, sloppy, distracted drivers out there and anybody who uses the road needs to expect that. That includes motorcyclists.

And if motorcyclists don't like it, then they can stay off the road - I know a lot of riders who have done just that, decided the streets are too dangerous so they only ride track or on trails.

But motorcycle rider's aren't a "protected class" and are not entitled to any greater degree of deference or courtesy simply because they choose to use a more dangerous form of transportation. If they're not willing to accept the additional risk that comes along with riding on the streets and highways then they need to not ride in those places, not get road ragey when someone does something they don't like.
