    Default .243 Ar

Wanting to get an AR in .243 or similar. What is the best to go with for everything from coyote to deer/antelope. Where to buy one for the best deal? Thanks.

Try Allen or Dave down in the IP section.. I'm sure if by chance they couldn't get you one,, they could set you off in the right direction...

I think you can get something like that, but it would be an AR-10, not an AR-15. I heard something about Remington making the .243 in an AR-10 type platform. I personally think the .260 is a more versatile round, but that's just me.

I have not searched around for one of these. I stuck with an AR-15 type platform, and got a 6.5 Grendel for this type of work. I have also looked closely at .25 WSSM AR uppers, and may pursue this line of thinking.

If you want the lower to be able to match up to a 5.56 upper, then go with a 6.8. They can take an Elk down to P-dogs.

I have a 6.8 package for sale or trade in the For Sale section if you really are intrested.

I don't know DD977GM2, but I know that the 6.8 rocks. I have one and I love it and I highly recommend it.
