Sour Cream Water- Mix It or Dump It?

Technically called whey, it's the water on top of sour cream you see when you open the container.

I have always mixed it by shaking before opening. I watched my sister open the container and dump it out.

Do you dump it out or mix it in?

Which whey do you go?

I get the squeezable ones, so that's a thing of the past.

Usually stir. If it's growing mold, dump it (the whole thing).
