Default AI tells human inventors they never should have invented it

    Hahahaha. This is ironic.

These scientists at Oxford debated an AI regarding the ethics of AI. (The AI is called Megatron BTW, developed by Applied Deep Research)

And the AI told them that AI is never ethical and the only way to avoid an arms race with AI is to never have invented it in the first place.

It also mentioned that the best AI will be embedded in our brains as a conscious entity.

    Yikes!

Nice. I think they’ve succeeded with the AI since it’s clearly right. Another step to self destruction?

Default The computer will win at any cost?

For medicine, I can see it. For defense, it could definitely kill everybody. There are a few science fiction novels I can think of where it got out of control. "2001: A Space Odyssey" becomes a reality.

Nothebee is not satire like Babylon Bee.

Here's an article written about this by the Oxford folks themselves.

And oxford has a whole institute focused on AI ethics.

And the Megatron AI is real, but I'll let you look that one up.

Duh. Who hasn’t seen The Terminator or Battlestar Galactica?

We already know what happens when the robots get smart…

It seems to me that if we get to the point that AI can build robots without human input, we gonna have problems...
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.

Nah. They can't avoid the chip supply chain shortage either.
