Weather Alert Possible 100MPH Winds Wednesday

Seeing some gusts of 121mph south of 82nd out by Hwy 93.

I-25 closed from Wellington north.
At least 4 blown over tractor trailers.

I'm used to getting 30-60 mph gusts in Briargate (COS) but it's been sounding like steady winds in excess of 50 mph. Don't have a weather station setup to record actual data but it's fun to listen to.

Once again the weather people have disappointed me. They promised me 80-100 mph winds and I haven?t seen anything over maybe 40.

This is the same disappointment as when they tell me I?m going to get 24? of snow and only get 3.

So far we've lost four trees in the yard with three of them blocking the driveway. I'll cut them up when the wind calms down but it's too dangerous to work out there with much larger trees whipping all around.
