Was in a 150mph, in Nederland, a few years ago. CSU Research Station clocked the wind at 200mph+.
Fun times. Trees were falling all around me on the way home.
Ran the Ned Visitors Center for a couple of years. A GA family come in on a 50mph wind day.
"It sure is windy."
"Two days ago it was over 70mph."
"That's a hurricane in GA."
"Welcome to the mountains."

Only saw two semi’s on their side between Pueblo & Colorado Springs today, but once you got into the Springs and North to Monument, there must have been 15 - 20 of them on both sides of I-25.
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.
Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

It was insane at my home in the Springs. I lost 50+ feet of various fencing. Neighbor lost power... I'd rather rebuild some fence! Trees down in two adjacent properties, glad I did so much pruning last spring. Still lots to clean up.

David - CS, CO feedback
It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.
As far as I can tell I only lost four fenceposts. Chain link is the way to go if you don't need the privacy.
Not going to be fun digging and breaking up the existing concrete footings.

YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...
Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.

We did fine here in the foothills. No damage, just a couple items blown around. We have seen a lot of high winds over the years, so everything is pretty pre-conditioned to that type of event. I did put some extra sandbags on the trampoline legs and tie down my truck topper that is off the vehicle. A few intermittent power outages.
The vagrants of Boulder welcome you...
Also less extreme for us on our part of the prairie. Couple gusts in low 60's early, 30-40 mph rest of day, normal winter conditions in our area.
Our max 45mph gust yesterday was a record high since record keeping started at my house 3 years ago.
Previous record was 40mph set on 06/07/21
