Another possibility is the Supreme Court could address how lower and circuit courts are supposed to address Second Amendment cases, which Wisniewski said is likely with such a ruling.

“If the court does rule against New York, it will also likely clarify how lower courts are supposed to evaluate these cases,” Wisniewski said.
I think that is the biggest potential impact. Courts like the 9th Circuit have systems for apply 2A rights that someone how just always seem to favor restrictions. That isn't what Heller and McDonald set-up, bt it what they do. So if SCOTUS makes clear that places like the 9th are doing it wrong, and explicitly state that the 2A rights deserve more deference, that could have an impact on AWB and mag bans.

    That is my understanding.

I still want to see Maryland's mag ban and the CA AWB and mag restrictions, along with the handgun type restrictions get a hard HELL NO from SCOTUS.

The crime and expense of CO, especially Denver, make me want to move. The gun laws here, and the trajectory they are on, will be the tipping point to me leaving. Some SCOTUS rulings in our favor will make this place barely livable.
I'll stop buying black rifles when my wife stops buying black shoes.
