The pistol grip and stock of both, but especially the one on the right, certainly doesn't look right for an M99.

It's hard to tell, but there is some slim possibility that it could be an M107/82A1, missing more than the barrel. Just missing the barrel doesn't explain the height/shape of the top of the receiver.

I have an M82a1 and I think it looks exactly like the lower receiver. Its not missing the barrel alone. Its missing the whole upper receiver. Here is a picture off the internet.

Yeah. The butt stock on the right is what is throwing me off, but who knows what kind of crap is on it.
