I am surprised it took this long. I thought maybe some cooler heads had prevailed, but nope.

Do you think any large population municipality in the state will not follow as soon as the path is laid out?

    Maybe Castle Rock?

This has been in the works for a while. From the rumors that I have heard, there isn't a municipality in BC that isn't on board with this, and I completely agree, this will spread through the state like wildfire if it's successful.

Denver will follow fast. There is the mindset that they want the most strict gun laws, and won’t let other cities ‘undercut them’. That is why they went to 15 rounds, no grandfathering, when the state went to 15. The 20 round limit in place then was functionally more strict than the state, since there was no effective grandfathering.

SCOTUS really needs to clarify this thing NOW. The 5 need to leave Roberts on the other side and actually get impactful rulings. Gun law rights has been a very slow and tedious movement. Gay Marriage was decided in one case after they found the Gay Marriage was actually mentioned in the 75th Amendment.

no they will not. Outside kick a decision back to a llowercourt. I'm surprised they took the NYC case. Too many 2a supporters are celebrating way before they make a decision. If SCOTUS does rule in favor of the plaintiffs, i would be a bit surprised. Especially with roberts rarely siding with the Constitution, probably saying a ruling in favor would affect states rights , when it comes to existing gun laws.

We need to kick Roberts out of the right wing of the court and make him sit and eat lunch with those liberal mental midgets. Maybe if he spent time with Sotomayer more he’ll realize that she’s bat crap crazy stupid and dangerous.

Smart money says that Roberts tries to sign onto majority pro to a opinions and since he is the chief justice write them himself so that they are basically meaningless.

Is this an outright ban, or a registration, or a new mag limit and semi auto thing like Denver does now?
