At least his death wasn’t attributed to COVID…..
RIP.

Never saw Baskets but I did enjoy him in so many things over the years.
I remember a bit he did in one of his stand up routines in the 80's where he moved the microphone stand to the side and said "Let me move this so you can see me". After which he said "You know some of you are asking yourselves 'Do you think he knows he's fat?'". Loved it.
Another funny comedian who has moved to the great Improv in the sky.

Ginsue's Feedback
If I?m being honest I thought he passed years ago.
I saw him years ago at the Comedy Works downtown and hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. His stories growing up were strongly based on his real and difficult childhood. He was able to find a way to make them funny. Never watched Baskets either but enjoyed his standup work.
Seems like many of the good comics have difficult lives that provide for much of their material or at least a temporary way to deal with them. RIP.
He was 68? Damn. I always figured he was younger (but still not long for this world). I like that he didn’t have a filter. RIP.
I'm not fat, I'm tactically padded.

One of his classic lines: "Sorry, I'm sweating . . . but if I don't, I'll explode."
