Default Any experience with HHV helmets as an NVG host?

Beginning the journey down the NVG road and I?m trying to decided what would be the more appropriate route to take, it would be primarily for pig and coyote hunting at night in combination with a DBAL. The bump helmets are obviously lighter, but my question is will the decreased weight of the helmet cause excessive movement of the NVGs while moving/driving? Curious if a ballistic HHV ATE would be a better host in that respect.
plan is to be using them with PVS14, PVS31 or DTNVG.

I?m not law enforcement or military, so I?m asking for opinions of people who have used them and have experience.
    thanks in advance!

side note, Hard headed veterans spends a lot of money on advertising which is why I know of them. I?m not 100% committed to them as a brand so if any one has any recommendations of a better, similarly priced option, I?m all ears!

Ops Core bump works great with my PVS14 as long it is counter weighted.

Don't give Hhv money is all i have to add. If you need to save money and want more than a bump just get used legit helmets on eBay.

I have my PVS7* on a Team Wendy bump and it balances well and doesn't bounce around.

*sorry PVS7 is all I have

Thank you guys for the advice! No need to be sorry BP still pretty comparable weight to the others. Fitz, what is it about HHV that makes you not want to buy their products?

HHV helmets are made in china and are not certified, they are "rated" which essentially means its tested but not thoroughly and not to the same stringent requirements as a certified helmet is. Now for the bump versus ballastic question. Yes technically a ballastic helmet is a better host due to the weight however that being said.....my friends and I all run bumps for our setups. I also ran bumps while on active duty for certain situations to great effect. As stated above, it really doesnt matter as long as it is setup correctly and is counter weighted correctly. The biggest thing to look for when running a bump is the rigidity around the shroud, you want that to be as stiff as possible. Ops core, team wendy and mtek flux helmets are all good to go. I have zero experience using a chinese knock off bump. I would stick to the 3 I listed, also the retention system is different for each manufacturer, alot of ppl love the team wendy retention, i prefer the ops core dial(not the worm drive) My primary use case right now is for general night vision shooting and 2A purposes as well as active hog hunting(not just sitting in a field, walking through brush and hunting them down)
Pictured helmets are 2 team wendy's and my ops core bump, im in the middle and the ops core does a great job when counterweighted for the dual toobs,y buddy on the left is running dual 14s on a panobridge which weighs a little bit more but he loves his team wendy, i feel its pretty much shooters choice as long as your sticking to those 3 manufacturers. As for HHV bump helmets, i have no experience with them at all.

Team Wendy and hhv bumps have metal shrouds, the rest are plastic.
