San Jose California. Coming soon to a municipality near you!

"The San Jose City Council held a final vote on Tuesday to turn a proposal it previously passed into law requiring gun owners in the city to carry the insurance and pay a fee, the Associated Press reported."

"While gun rights advocates argue that gun owners should not have to pay a fee to exercise their constitutional right to bear arms," Liccardo said, via the report, the "2nd Amendment does not require the taxpayers to subsidize folks to own guns."

Huh? You can get money from the government to own a gun? Sign me up!

How are gun owners costing the state money? Or anyone else?

We should not be liable for the acts of criminals. We are not responsible for stole bat or hammer being used in a crime. I also don't think we are liable for crashes caused by a criminal in a stolen vehicle.

Build the wall. No, not the one in Texas, the one on the eastern border of Commifornia.
