Tanner Gun Show

I have been creeping around this Fourm for a long time, and have loved learning and meeting a lot of you. I don't often post in the GD and haven't Rant in a long time. So here it goes.
Rant
Disappointed in the Tanner Gun Show. This morning I thought I would take my son to a gun show. It is something I did with my father and thought it would be cool to do with my son. Last gun show I went to was back in 2007ish at the Phill long center. Today at the door i was asked if I was Carrying? I said yes i have a CCW. The nice lady at the door said I would need to check the firearm. The Security guard asked if i was carrying. Yes he said I would have to check the pistol and retrieve it when I left the Show. I told him No thank you and turned around and left.
I'm Disappointed that an event like this would take away someone right to self-defenses. Like all the other companies and venues that take rights away from law abiding citizens to self-defend, I will not support. Best of luck to Tanner Gun show.
