    Default I'm a dumbass-Found it!!

    **Found it**

Went shooting on Sunday. Brought out the Sig 365 XL which hasn't seen much range time. Had a couple of others along for fun too. Finished up, packed up, went home. I cleaned the pistols Sunday evening. Last night I figured I should look over the mags. Well, it looks like I left one of the Sig mags at the range, grrrr. Went by today, nobody turned one in. Came home, tore apart my truck and my range bag, rearranged my bench where I clean stuff and.........nothing. It's not the end of the world but I varied my routine and this was the result.

I typically only keep one pistol at a time on the shooting bench with it's associated mags/ammo. This time I put 3 of them out and then scooped them all up when I was finished. Didn't pay close enough attention, damn it!

I know how you feel, I left my ar500 targets at the range, came back the next day all gone. I was hoping since I shoot at a members only club some one would of put them in the shead insted of taking them.

Ive collected (off the range not on match days) a ton of equipment, steel targets, supplies & even one firearm. Got every single item back to its rightful owner & it took some doing for a couple of them too (finding the owner).

It still might come back to you.

Was it a public or private range?

While I have not left anything at a range, except .22LR brass, I have found quite a few items including boxed ammunition, loose ammunition, magazines, cleaning supplies and gear, hats, jacket, car keys and twice I found a firearm. I kept the ammunition. The other stuff I organized on the shooting benches as neatly as I could so the owners could easily see it if they came back. The guns I took to the Weld county sheriffs office and left them there.
Best I could do. Each time I ran across the stuff was on a Monday morning.
