I have sold several high end shotguns and rifles on Gunbroker in recent months with no issues. Got really good prices on the auctions. Liberty Arms in Ft Collins will ship for a nominal fee.

I take them to one of the local pawn shops. They charge me 40-50 I charge the buyer 60.00 flat fee. Gunbroker charges the taxes so you have no control over that. Never had an issue with GB.

Second silly question: Where is a good place to get a rifle-sized box?

I bet if you have a gun shop close by they probably have something laying around that they would give you.

Instead of gunbroker. Or along with GB. Signup on mewe.com There's a few gun, ok a lot of gun, related sites to join. Unlike FB they welcome guns and related items, for discussion as well as sales. Having decent transactions, since i started there about 1.5 yrs ago.
