It's very easy to find out a lot of information about someone. 10 minutes and I found home address, her history, her husband's history and his work address. Someone with stronger google-fu could undoubtedly find much more.
That's why you have to be so careful these days. If some nut like the tattoo parlor guy gets it in your head you are his enemy, it's pretty easy to track you down.
On the other hand, if you keep your head down and never speak up about issues with which you are concerned, you may not be able to stop or change that issue.
