Aside from all the political reasons not to watch, I agree the backstory/personal interest stories ruined sports coverage, even before the kneelers took over. Even in NASCAR there's such idiocy--last laps and they'll do a cut shot to a driver's wife watching the race instead of the cars on the track.

Having fun watching who will fall or not fall on ski, snowboard, and ice skate. Even many gold medalist fell this year.

A- why was this region selected for the WINTER Olympics?
