I rarely remember how i70 looked like (east of i270). They changed so little at a time since 95.
I spent so much time on the road around Denver and running Parker-Cheyenne back in the 90's, I'm probably in that pic.We saw this but people who didn't get to see the crossing...

Growing up in west LA, we were a few hundred yards away from LAX. The runways crossed over Lincoln Ave. and we frequently saw the big planes crossing. It was a long tunnel under the runway.We saw this but people who didn't get to see the crossing...

Stapleton had a great place to park off Havana Street that I'm sure some here remember. Landing planes flew low right over the road. That was really something!
They went right over our heads when using east/west runways.
