Great stories... so, a quick question for Bailey guns... next time someone complains and you happen to have 3 patrol cars and lots of time on your hands... can you give me a call to come participate in the "fun" switches?! HAHA.

I'm not worried about the mountains my friend. I just worry about running out of ammo! HA. I'll have to admit though, I've been in CO for about a year now and I have still not gotten around to trying to ski.

I was born here and just found out that lift tickets are up to like $80 for one day now. Screw that.

Yeah, ski rentals are the close to the same price, lodging WAY more expensive, etc. Too much for me, but one day. That seems to be my motto of late, "one day". HA.

Yep, just moved here, already found a way to get myself and my truck stuck in the mountains twice. I love this state. Bad calls always make the best stories.

Down in Arizona I lived near a little town called Catalina. One day that comes to mind, I dropped my car off at a mechanics to get some work done as I couldn't get my brake calipers off with the tools I had and decided I would walk to a range near by and go shooting while he was working. Strapped the AR to my back and walked 4 miles down main street to the range. I fully expected to waste a cops time dealing with a complaint, but not even a funny look.

I do miss how every road ended in desert and shooting ranges, but someday with luck, I will own some land I can shoot on too.

Where at, the Cutthroat? I'm not too far North, on Conifer Mountain East, near the top. While it is certainly "more urban" over here we, too, have nothing but "strong acceptance" and gun ownership is oft-discussed around the hill. I'm fortunate to be tucked-away on a dead-end and next to great neighbors that are not too close but...while I've heard reports in the area, I've never fired any of my weapons up here. Doubtful anyone would freak-out if I did but...

I will say this though, there are plenty of turd Socialists around these parts, more than I care for or remember from years past (just spending time in the Pinecam Study confirms the losers are here en masse). I could see one of those whiny cock-suckers cryin' about a public dicussion of arms.

In any event, nice story and thanks for sharing.

PS - I went by your ol' shop the other day, signs still up?
