Yes, it's time for another gun buyback! Sponsored by Aurora, Denver and your favorite local football club, the Denver Broncos.

Drive-thru service for your convenience. (Sorry, no ammo accepted)

Sounds like a good deal for everyone!

    Except...

"Using data from the National Incident Based Reporting System, we find no evidence that GBPs reduce gun crime," the researchers said. "Using data from the National Vital Statistics System, we also find no evidence that GBPs reduce suicides or homicides where a firearm was involved."

If they never owned them in the first place, how is it a "buy-back"?
Liberals never met a slippery slope they didn't grease.

Who pays for the BGC? I mean, there's likely all manner of felons in these groups...
Light a fire for a man, and he'll be warm for a day, light a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life...

Discussion is an exchange of intelligence. Argument is an exchange of
ignorance. Ever found a liberal that you can have a discussion with?

this piece of the article peaks my curiosity. "However, we’ve heard from the community, especially young people, (that) they want a place to safely and anonymously turn in their guns.” Young people as in teenagers? And they came into possession of these guns that they want to turn in how? Maybe they're just picking them up along the streets at night, idk....but I'd like someone to sit and watch and see just how many "young people" come and turn in any guns.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.

Anonymous allows them to turn in guns "acquired" from parents, parents of friends, mom's BF, dad's GF, etc. with no repercussions. Can't get in trouble with the folks or the local constabulary if you can't track it... Free party money, yo.

Young people want a place to "safely and anonymously" dispose of evidence.

If you love your freedom, thank a veteran. If you love to party, thank the Beastie Boys. They fought for that right.
