Anybody have any suggestions for good, reliable, affordable ad blocker apps/software? Friggin' ads popping up everywhere are driving me mad.....

I use this one.
Pihole
Pihole is fine, and recommended - but you will need more than just that tool.
AdBlock Plus is another fine addition
and another to look at ghostery to help manage scripts.
I use all 3, but still use brave when sites detect those tools on firefox.
Bradbn4 - Having fun in Colorado
I use Brave browser, it even blocks the ads on YouTube videos
