Huh...living off 285, I pretty much say this every weekend during the summer.

But, we also have narcan too.

We'd have about 50% fewer transients if not for narcan. With that many hippies around, they'll probably have a narcan vending machine and no fatalities (from opiods). Hep C, heart attack and stroke, maybe 15+.

I'd guess the fentanyl will get some.

USFS is having a meeting and dispatching an incident management team for the July 1-7 gathering of peace, love and outdoor defecation.

The second article says the hippies have already started arriving in the Routt National Forest in an area north of California Park.

"The campers will spend hours talking, singing, dancing, playing instruments, making art and meeting new friends."

The hippies are gone.

I read a bunch of 'em are still there helping with the cleanup? If so, gotta give 'em props for that. Also read that the real problems was from a bunch of kids assuming it was a festival or burning man kinda thing, and not so much the hippies. Still wouldn't a buncha stinky hippies and their hairy-legged wimminz nearby.....
