I love making cakes, NPR, and Strawberry Frappuchinos. But in a manly way, I assure you.

    On the topic of boots:

At one point in my life, I did field work for 12-15 hours a day. Those days are past me, but I still have very specific taste in a quality work boot. Leather, uninsulated, solid ankle support, waterproof. I used to love the Timberland Pro series because it checked all those boxes, but the last two pairs I had only lasted two years before the souls started separating. I am currently wearing some Ariat 9-hole lace ups that check all the boxes, and have held up surprisingly well for four years now. But the toe box is way narrower than the Timberland Pros, and these days when I am in the field for a few hours, my toes let me know it.

Anyone got any manly suggestions for a wider leather lace-up boot that is uninsulated and waterproof?

    And also a mammography enthusiast.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!

May differ from the crowd a bit but In my mind masculine doesn?t have to follow the hard grizzled steak potatoes or what ever.
Raised with people of any and all genders that get things done. If it needs fixed or done it gets fixed and done. I?ve tended farm animals and fixed equipment at silly hours with any possible combination of gender binary or not that we can think of.
Do what you can and are able to help those no matter the species that need It.
    Oh yeah
    And don?t be an asshole.

    That?s masculine to me

I'm surprised that none of you are biologists yet you know what a man is... How does that work?

    Oh, yeah. You're not liberals.

Lace up? You kids these days.

Fifty plus years doing manly things has taken its toll on my body. I can barely manage to get my socks on. There?s no way I could reach down long enough to lace up boots.

In the past 3 weeks I've: installed a new mailbox, watched countless hours of YouTube DIY videos, installed 1100+ sq ft of vinyl plank flooring, upgraded all electrical outlets in the house, installed new trim throughout the house including around the windows, moved the previously installed mailbox to a location 20' away because my carrier is retarded, installed brick paneling in the kitchen and dining room, started prepping for a whole house generator install, installed an electric-powered anode in the water heater and I'm about to run a propane line for a new gas kitchen stove and fireplace in the living room. In between all of that I'm installing new cabinets in the kitchen. And in my spare time I'm moving stuff from the old place in Olustee to the new place.

I don't know if that's manly or not, but it's been a metric shit-ton of work.

And I've been to Home Depot about 387 times... Sometimes 3 or 4 times in one day. Mostly because I can't remember half the things I need, forget something the first or second or third time, or something I did remember to get just doesn't work. I always make a list of everything I need and then conveniently find that list on the table by the door...where I left it...when I get back from Home Depot.

You're reminding me of stuff I have to do. Stop it.
Have to re-case a window, install and re-case a door, run cat5 and coax to one more room, fix settling in the backyard, and more. Ugh.
