    Default Whistling Pine

The gunsmiths there do a fine job. They compete in many types of competition including Bullseye, USPSA.
Having the range to test fire and a competition background you are well served.
Curious why anyone would ask about what brand 1911 concerning a trigger job?
I like sex, drugs and automatic weapons. That's why i'm a dues paying member of the Libertarian party. Struggling to keep the government away from messing with the above.

probably because certain makers use non standard parts.
and second- it so happens that the gentleman has a Para. and they make 2 separate actions, the classic single and the LDA - which is merely a long pull single action, but with modified internals.

But you knew that already and I take it that you build 1911's then?

Besides, I'm not fond of Whispering Pines, especially their gunsmithing, but that has just been my experience speaking with them.

What ever happend to the A-Zone in Colorado Springs at Palmer Park and Circle? (Under-Behind Baskin Robbins)

Those guys tuned a Springfield Champion for me that I couldn't compare to anything else. It would even feed empty brass from a mag.(No Hollow Point misfeeds there!) To bad that was like almost 15 years ago.

Gary retired from the business, and Andy Ginn passed away.
Talked with Gary a few days ago and he is thinking of starting back up on a limited basis.

Gary is one of the best. He was a member of the American Pistolsmith Guild, American Handgunner Top 100.

Gary is indeed going to start up again on a limited basis. He is waiting for his current FFL to come in right now. I use to work for him before he sold out to Andy. Send me a PM if you'd like and I will give you his number. There is none better that is for sure.

Anyone know if Gary got his license yet? I saw that this is old, and a coworker needs some 1911 work.
