    Default Lee Enfield

Some time ago I acquired a Lee Enfield No IV MK 1. Surplus rifle, very dirty, most of the finish is worn away, bore is dark but I can still see the rifling. I have a lot to learn about these but as far as I can see, it is complete and correct. It is stamped US PROPERTY on the side of the receiver. I have plans to strip it down, clean it up and see how it shoots. If it shoots fairly well I will refinish it and add it to my meager collection.
I will be acquiring reference books over the next few months so I can learn more about the LEE Enfield.
