    Default 10 Inches in May

    I rented that movie once...

Looks like we have a branch breaker headed our way.

We had one three years ago, I think on the same day. I had to borrow a chainsaw to tend broken branches in my condo complex, resting on cars.

Pretty sure I torrented that one.

I did go out and unhook the hose bibs though.

Ugh, I hope they are wrong on the snow accumulation. We have about 100 trees. This could be a mess.

Couple degrees either way make a big difference.

We're looking at a possible 27 inches of snow. Been preparing all evening.

We sure need the water as the forests are dry. Rivers are running full early and the snow will add a lot more CFS to the flow. 100 cubic feet per second here yesterday. Spring flooding in a drought.

The 2013 flood reached 1300 CFS here.

I figured I'd better check this thread out. Thought my wife might have been talking about me again.

woohoo, might have green grass yet this summer. Bring it on.

Finally put fertilizer down yesterday. Didn't see any need to before now. Hope the brown grass comes to life.
Laws aren't "preventable" measures. IOW, more gun laws won't stop mass shootings.

Got the hoop houses sealed up around my garden last night. We use them every year for this very reason plus to keep things cozy during cool nights and protect from hail, etc.

Covered the hoops in blankets as well. May have to add some supplemental heat if it gets any lower than predicted. It's already 37 at my place. I'm not so sure the forecast 32deg is going to be accurate. At this rate, it's going to be lower.

Not going to let the tomatoes and peppers die on my watch.
