In Dec 2019 and again in Feb 2020 (planning started months earlier) they did some similar scenario planning. That time it was to simulate an outbreak of an influenza type virus.

Tell me if this sounds familiar.

with a fictional scenario in which the world
is confronting a disease outbreak from a
dangerous, apparently human-engineered
pathogen, which is suspected to have
originated in a country with biotechnology
development ambitions
And in the published report of the scenario planning, they write...

Although the event had been
planned for months, the fictional disease in
the scenario swept the globe in a way eerily
similar to COVID-19 and foreshadowed the
widespread impact and paralyzing knock-on
effects that the world is now experiencing.
These guys really do have accurate scenario planning.
