Denver's Daniel's Park in Douglas county has concealed carry banned recently. But Denver has zero authority to enforce Denver laws outside of Denver. Same for all their mountain parks. If local LE don't/won't enforce, Denver can pound sand.

Without further details, it sounds like this couple had a restraining order against this suspect. 73 yrs old and pulling this cr@p. Maybe his SS isn't enough and he was looking for 3 hots and a cot for the rest of his life.
