This law was passed a few years ago. It's surprising people are just starting to talk about it now.

I am running into this with a pair of M715’s I own. I have a hearing on Wednesday. We will see how that goes.

A lawmaker in Southeast Colorado put in a bill to allow the licensing of military vehicles which would have included Humvees and the modern cargo trucks citing their potential use for ranching and farming. The committee then rewrote the bill eliminating the ability to license any military vehicle at all other than you can get an exemption to use it in parades if you have a historic vehicle with an original military paint and markings scheme.

Been looking at buying a Humvee from a place in Kentucky, he fixes them up pretty nice, prices seemed reasonable for what he does to them, belts, seats, starter etc. Did not pull the trigger because of it being up in the air whether or not I could register it and get it to pass emissions in Dougco.

Would much rather buy one of these for $40K than a new truck for $65K. Just asinine to ban this vehicle when they sell the exact same thing to the public in metallic colors and the military seems fine driving them down I25..

I looked into the registering it in another state but there seems to be a rule saying if you have a permanent residence in Colorado you have to register your vehicle in CO.

This should not be that hard but Democrats are involved. Wish there was a legit way around it, I would buy one tomorrow if I knew I could get it registered and pass emissions. Not looking for a daily driver just something to have fun with and make a run to the lumber yard and so on. Oh well.
