Cheapest price i've found is $1200 for a used.
There is a guy on gunbroker selling just the stripped lower and asking $700

Man do people over pay for the prancing pony.

History:
R6450 was introduced in 1985 as a 3rd gen Colt AR. Replaced by the 4th gen in 2002. Redesignated the AR6450
Not really rare, but rare compared to the 223/5.56 carbines.
