The people that I was referring to are non-residents who work full time 40+ hour jobs day in and day out throughout the year. They pay thousands of dollars in state taxes to Colorado every year but when there is a surplus then they just get a big middle finger from the state.

They are not eligible to vote in the upcoming election.

So, it appears people who live in Wyoming but are employed in Colorado and pay Colorado state income taxes won?t be getting the checks because they are not residents of Colorado?

So, basically, only people who are eligible to vote in the upcoming election are being given ?free? money from the generous governor?

That doesn?t seem sketchy at all.

Call Taxpayer Service at the Colorado Dept. of Revenue and ask if you get a credit on your tax return when you file for 2022.
