    Default P365 airsoft - Best $129 I ever spent?

I picked up the SIG Proforce P365 airsoft gun. This is legit. So much so, the trigger is even close (unlike most airsoft guns including the SIG M17 airsoft pistol I have).

I'm a huge fan of using airsoft for at-home practice and even more so now that I have a nearly exact model of my carry gun (my real P365 doesn't have the manual safety). Draws and reloads with airsoft are so much better than dry fire. I like dry fire but have always been concerned that too much firing and racking creates bad muscle memory. I've seen that in real life. I shot 16 yard trap for many years. One shot at a time. Then, the very first time I went upland hunting, I shot, missed and didn't shoot again despite having a shot. Muscle memory is real and I'm excited to have a tool to practice with at home that will reduce chances of bad habits.

Some airsoft pistols have weak blowback. The blowback on this is forceful and semi realistic. I've had airsoft guns with hard blowback before and they suffer from durability issues. Hopefully this doesn't but only time will tell. There's a lot more metal in this than those older gas blowback pistols that wore out.

Weight and balance on this are spot on. Shoots a tiny bit little low out of the box and it doesn't have an adjustment hop-up which is disappointing. But it's not meant to be a bullseye pistol so it'll do.

It'll also make for a great training aid to introduce the kids to pistol shooting. I've already used airsoft ARs to teach the kids but only had full-sized airsoft pistols. This will be much easy for little hands to learn.

All-in-all, this is well worth $129.

Some of them are exceptional replicas and you certainly get what you pay for. I have a top shelf G19 replica too and feel the same way. It’s incredibly accurate too.

So this uses metal BBs? Do you charge the magazines from a big CO2 tank or do you have to use the small little scuba looking tanks. I’m seeing it on Evike for $99, just wondering if that is the real deal.

Mine uses green gas that goes into the magazine along with a stack of plastic airsoft pellets, not metal bb’s. Reloading is just like a normal pistol. It even locks open on empty.

Kid has a 1911. CO2 tiny one time cartridges and plastic BBs. Tons of fun. Set up a shoot house in the basement and you too will believe.

The $99 one I have seen on evike is a BB gun, not airsoft. SIG makes both, so be careful you get which one you want.

Some airsoft guns, like the M17, can use either CO2 or green gas depending on which magazine you get. As far as I can tell, the P365 is only available to use standard CO2 cartridges right now. In my experience the CO2 gives you twice as my shots per refill as green gas. But green gas is much easier to refill. Green gas also contains lubricants and is flammable, so may not be the best if you intend to use in a non ventilated basement for example.

Same. I love my G19 Airsoft replica. Threw my Streamlight TLR7-A on it and it fit perfect in my holster. Great little training tool.

    I’m even more confused now…

    https://www.sigsauer.com/p365-air-pistol.html

    4.5mm metal BBs? Not .177 bbs or 6mm airsoft…

The pics make it looks like you hook up a green gas to it…

    4.5mm is .177 cal (4.5 x .03937 = .177165)
