Looking to build a heavy barreled target AR10 based 6.5 Creedmoor or buy a left hand target bolt gun in 6.5.
I'm the only lefty in the family. I'm guessing the AR10 will be easier to sell in the future.
Any argument?

A factory built bolt gun will sell for a higher percentage of what you pay than a built AR10 for sure. Only the $2K+ all factory .308 pattern ARs typically have decent resale value. Lefty's are always looking for bolt guns too. The factories make about 5-10% in lefty, in limited models. 10-12% of the population are lefties.
I don't understand.
Sell a gun???
What does that mean?
Build your dream gun, whichever platform you want. Then, shoot it like it’s your only gun and get really good with it. Then, sell other ones… not that dream gun you’ve become proficient with. Or, don’t sell a thing and just hold them in the family as long as we live in a free America.

Just fall in line with the rest of the lefties in the world and adapt to using normal firearms. You?ll have a much larger pool of potential buyers if you decide to sell.
Have tried the right while lefty thing. Not happy.
Going bolt means not chasing brass and only neck sizing!

Ray, As a lefty myself, I fart in your general direction.
Amen to that!!
If you really think you'll want to sell it at a later date bear in mind that lefties are less than 10% of the shooting population and AR-10's are a niche item even among the right-handed shooters. A bolt gun would definitely be easier to sell later on.
I have 2 left-handed bolt rifles and a Stag lefty AR-15. Only lefty anywhere in my family until my daughter gave me a left-handed grandson.

Build both to fit you, don't worry about resale.
I have to pick on the left handed people. It?s all I can do these days since picking on people about their gender, race, or religious beliefs is frowned upon.
My wife is a lefty but does a lot of things right handed. She?s borderline ambidextrous. Trying to teach her to shoot was fun because she shoots right handed but is left eye dominant.
