    Got my Chiappa upper from copes today this is what it looks like...I have a few changes in store for it and will follow up with some pics and how it shoots...

    no threads on the end, how can you throw your suppressor on it?

    Easy, send it to Tornado Tech (and pay more money and wait several months). Not that TT is over priced, just very busy.

    The barrel is turned down to 1/2 inch just run a 1/2-28 die on her and its done...

    Bad idea. Have a gunsmith do it in a lathe.

    They make a starter die that works good. not that big of a deal if the barrel is at 1/2 inch. I have access to a lathe so thats how I do mine..

    Iron Ridge Arms in Longmont has done some for me in a few days. Total cost for cut, thread, & recrown was only $95

    What method do you use to make sure the threads are perfectly concentric to the barrel? If not threaded perfectly, then you seriously risk a baffle strike and wasting all the money it cost you to obtain the suppressor.

    Assuming the bore is exactly in the middle of the barrel...
