You are definitely not a "half full" kinda guy and that's your Opinion.
My only point was that instead of these " this means ...... that..... and that means this......... and we are dead," that the Dems have and will openly go directly to an issue.
ie They want to ban guns, so they do.
In other words, they don't hide their intentions at this point and don't need to find all these meandering ways of getting that done.
My only point now is that while they pushed their agendas hard and made progress as they see it, there have also been major setbacks for them.
Mainly in these legal decisions recently handed down. And even the Abortion decision was a HUGE blow to them.

You might feel like you are simply walking around dead, I don't........ this battle is far from over.

I am actually a pretty cheerful guy with a lot to look forward to.

I do not think the battle is over nor do I think a takeover by the left is inevitable.

I am pointing out the myriad of ways they may be able to accomplish their goals of controlling people's lives.

Remember that a true leftist is a zealot. Setbacks to their agenda make them more resolute and encourages them to reach farther next time.

We need to be aware of any step they take to accomplish the end goal of disarming the population. These steps may seem insignificant or meandering but they are steps toward that goal nonetheless and without recognizing them as such, there is little chance to fight them.

It's the punch you don't see coming that will knock you out.

Good news

Twenty-four Republican attorneys general sent a letter to Visa, Mastercard, and American Express Tuesday warning them to drop plans to code and compile gun sales in America.

Dems don't just go after their issues directly or indirectly...they do both. Always. They aren't a one trick pony.

Ex: They didn't just ban people from talking about Hunter's laptop, they refused to talk about it and they requested private companies hide anyone else from talking about it (The DOJ literally asked companies like FB to shadow ban stories of it). They absolutely have a LONG history of using backdoor, private company pressure and cooperation to make soft bans. No legislation needed. CC companies are no exception.

If the opportunity to make an outright ban comes up, they will do it. But they aren't just going to sit idle by waiting for that.

I meant no disrespect about the "glass" comment and No I don't know you at all.
But fair is fair, your comments don't come off as cheery or upbeat is all.

Yes, they are trying to control lives and some want theirs to be.
But not every thing they do comes close to doing that..........and sometimes it backfires horibbly..... and sometimes is simply ignored.
(ie...... I actually went to a local gun show and there sure seemed to be alot of high-cap mags for sale........... I mean I'm sure they were pinned, I just didn't look close enough )
