Instead of throwing your vote away on a candidate that has no chance of winning, doesn't it make more sense to vote for the guy that is in favor of some restrictions, as opposed to the guy that is in favor of no restrictions?
Even if Peotter were to win, he would have no power since the party with the most delegates has control of all the various committees.
If there were to be a vote on more or less restrictions on abortion, how would he vote?
As an idealist, he would abstain or vote present. As a pragmatist, he would likely vote with the Republicans. In a Senate as tightly divided as it is currently, each vote is vital.
The Senate this year is about voting for the team, not the player.
Poetter has as good of a shot at winning as O?Dea or Bennet has. I?m not on a political team, and don?t support any of them. Including the Libertarians. I either vote conscientiously, write-in, or abstain from voting. I understand voting for the lesser of two evils, and did that for far too long, I will not do that anymore.
I hope an area in which we agree is Joe O'Dea's daughter, Tayler, is very attractive.

Every time this ad pops up I have to watch.
Some of the ballot issues I was going to vote one way - then read the fine print...going to say, nope.
My fav was one of those tax issues that they said they be going to spend the money this way - but reserve the right to spend it on something else before the first area is resolved.
Bradbn4 - Having fun in Colorado
I drove by the library this morning where I drop off my ballot. There were a lot of people there, including large men in vests.
When I dropped it off about 1:00, no one was around.
Scary.
I dropped mine in the box at 6:30am today and there were quite a few people standing in line to vote in person too.
I just got an email confirming my vote was counted and they emailed me my "sticker" with instructions on how to save my "sticker".
I don't think they know what the word 'sticker' means...
I wrote my own name in for one of the RTD district positions with no candidate. My wife did too giving me two votes. Maybe I'll win and I promise to represent you all.![]()
