Default Curiosity about the Bul 1911 line?

    Greeting and Salutations,

After watching a YouTubers video regarding the Brand Bul and their 1911s, I am curious if anyone on here owns one or has experience with them? If so, any information from your personal experience with the brand would be welcome! Specifically the obvious things such as reliability, fit and finish, trigger, etc. Also more interested in their carry line if that helps narrow down anything! More info I have before making a large purchase like that the better.

    Thank you!

I've never owned one, I have a real weakness for all 1911s lol, but have shot a few that friends have. Always have been 100% reliable and accurate. Which model are you looking at?

I can speak a little bit on this, one of my very good friends has a tac 4.25" non comp'd model and a uspsa open gun which is their ultimate racer with the shorty slide and full length dust cover. I have about 1k of rounds thru each of them because I wanted to test them out cause I am in the market for a 2011 setup with a slide ride optic for 3gun and a USPSA open gun because I want to change over to open division next season. The pistols are very nice, great fit and finish and about 90% of the fit and finish youd find on an atlas. They are very well built and shoot amazingly. However the customer support seems to be a bit iffy ONLY due to them being in israel. Their US operstions are based out of florida, however if i am going to spend big money on 2 pistols, i really want customer support i can just call up and speak to a gunsmith or the likes. Dont get me wrong, i REALLY like the bul line of guns, but I decided to go with MPA guns. The MPA guns are a little bit more however they are based in georgia and pick up the phone , and when you send them your gun for upgrades or problems they get on it immediately.

I feel like it is shooters choice, bul guns are phenomenal just as the MPA ones are however MPA is based in georgia and for me thats huge. Now if bul armory was based in the US and offered the same customer service as MPA, man that would be a hard decision, leaning towards Bul.....hope that helps.

Going back and forth between the EDC 5” and the SAS II Ultralight 3.25”. Trying to decide between “I wanna feel like a fancy gun sloot” carry gun or a “This thing is gorgeous and I just have no self control with a pretty 1911”….

Hmm there is something to be said for actual customer service…but thank you for the insight! I do appreciate. Good to hear these are not just another piece of eye candy!
