Default Please help me to understand the thought process for this event

What are the parents/homeowners of 900 Dakin St. thinking that hosting this "party" was a reasonable course of action?

    https://www.9news.com/article/news/c...2-d0491d74e7fe

... and said earlier that night teenagers were posting videos from inside the house party.

"People were posting videos as if they were in a mosh pit, dancing to music, flashing guns like it was something to joke about," she said. "There were all kinds of guns. There was at least four or five in one video alone."

What could possibly go wrong letting a bunch of hood rats play hood rat?

My kids (16 & 13) are in bed asleep at 3:00am.

Just another data point to restrict the rights of responsible teens/young adults who have access to arms but are NOT thugs.

“It’s not safe anymore to go to house parties," Garcia said.
I lol'ed at that. Only just now, in 2022, does Alcohol, drugs, and horney kids suddenly increase the risk of violence.

For the last eighty years, house parties and the bar scene have been so safe, they double as a day care.

Not much has changed. The '96 documentary "The Lost Children of Rockdale County" brought these problems to light. Parents who are unwilling to parent.

Apparently, the alleged "mother" owns that home... until the first of many lawsuits.

Many parents want to be their children's friend and then the kids walk all over them.

Many parents have their own emotional or substance problems and are not able to properly supervise their children.

Many parents were not raised in homes where they were taught "right" and "wrong" and have passed those skewed values to their offspring.

Many parents simply don't give a shit how their kids turn out.
