    Aside: Many, many years ago I remember wasting about 20 minutes with an agent in Santa Barbara, California who wouldn't check in my gun because I "refused" to take the bolt out of my revolver. I think the only reason it finally happened was because of the growing line behind me and the fact she was the only agent at the counter.

    ummm... what bolt in a revolver? Is that the point? She was that dumb for 20 minutes?

    Yes. Someone told her what to say and because she didn't see anything being removed from the revolver, obviously I wasn't complying, no matter what I was trying to explain.

    "You have to remove the bolt"

    "It doesn't have a bolt"

    Rinse and repeat. For 20 minutes. Punctuated with me asking for a supervisor, which she was unwilling to do.
