    Default Case forming 6.5 creedmore

I?m considering this project but am unsure what it takes to do. Can I use 308 Winchester brass? What dies will I need? Do I need to anneal the shoulder?

If you value your time, just buy 6.5 Creed brass.

If you have tons of spare time, like to tinker and dont mind spending a bunch of tools, do it.

You will need to neck down in steps, and anneal when you are done. Then neck turn because the necks will be too thick. Then trim to the correct OAL.

After forming the shoulder might not be fully formed until you shoot it a time or two.

I had better luck, using 243 brass. Honestly, after case #10 i said %^&* it and ordered 6.5 brass. So to echo hoser's reply, buy 6.5 brass .

    +1

Lots of "once fired" 6.5 brass out there too. I prefer Lapua for everything.
