Default Your President Wants Your Guns

    https://nypost.com/2022/11/24/biden-...utomatic-guns/

"I'm going to try to get rid of assault weapons," he insisted.

"I'm sick and tired of these shootings. We should have much stricter gun laws," Biden told reporters...

"The idea we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick. It's just sick. It has no, no social redeeming value. Zero. None. Not a single, solitary rationale for it except profit for the gun manufacturers," Biden argued.

So there you go. No reason anyone should have guns.

He is going to save us all from mentally disturbed fat kids.

    I feel safer already!

Bring it. Let’s get this over with, and while we have SCOTUS. Pass a federal law, it will get to SCOTUS real quick and we’ll find out if logic, reason, and reading English are still a thing. If they can take the 2A, Heller, McDonald, some of the other smaller cases and now Bruen and take away our rights, well, we don’t have rights.

Won't have to ban the gun if there is a 2000% tax on them.

A similar tax on the ammo would curtail sales as well as a ten day waiting period. But first you must have a costly (in both time and money) individual federal ammo purchase license to get your mandated maximum ten rounds per month.
Sellers would not be exempt from federal oversight either. They need a license as well as special storage and liability insurance only available from the government.

These are just a couple of simple thing an idiot (me) thought up. Imagine the twisted schemes the anti-gun think tanks and PACs have come up with.

You forgot the required firearm seller liability insurance,
the required firearm buyer liability insurance,
    the required CCW liability insurance,
the required ammunition seller liability insurance
and the required ammunition buyer liability insurance.

    ...it's just common sense.

YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...
Gun registration is gun confiscation in slow motion.

Well, if you haven't stocked up for the next war by now, you probably should very soon.

Biden has been speaking out before Congress about banning the AR15 since the 1990s.

Biden was the primary author of the bill that became the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban, although some claim he stole it from Dianne Feinstein.

He thinks this is his issue and has more insight than anyone else. He's like the guy that has one good joke and keeps repeating it, hoping for laughs.

The lame duck congress is going to try to pass something in December.
