I'll be honest...I really love it here. The summers are pretty long and hot, though. That gets as old as the long, cold winters sometimes. But, when it's really hot it's nice to sit in the shade with a cold beer.

And I think the days of OK being a state to buy a really cheap place with some land is just about over. It ain't CO prices, but it's not like it was just a couple of years ago, either.

You want something to really cry about. We bought this 5 year old, 1100 sq ft house with 20 acres, shop and outbuildings and our payment is $566 month. THAT'S why I wanted to retire here.
