Default How Often Do You Grill?

I was just grilling some brats and see I need to do some grill maintenance. It's dirty. The screws are loose (I may have a few of those myself). I had to clean out the regulator and have replaced the heat diffuser tray twice.

I have lived in this condo for 5 years and it is my 2nd grill.

    Which got me to thinking...

How often do I use it? Do I use it more than most people?

I grill two or three night per week. It's easier than cooking indoors due to the cleanup and odors. It's supposed to be healthier.

I figure I use the little gas grill 100 to 150 times per year and the pellet smoker every other week.

That opens up the gas versus charcoal question. And grilling versus smoking.

I used to grill at least once a week (if not more often than that) but then I got a George Foreman grill and now I technically grill several times a week but rarely on the grill outside on the patio (sometimes I just use the George Foreman like a pannini press.

I agree. Grilling is easier as far cleanup and the odors. Over the summer, I grilled at least two times a week, maybe as many times as four. As the seasons have changed, I've been cooking indoors more. This includes a shift towards more baking and using the slow cooker.

I have a second (or third) hand propane grill that was probably manufactured about the time the Doncos won (or even lost?) their last Superbowl. I remember replacing a couple fasteners summer before last before I took it on a trip to Grand Junction. It's had a lot of adventures but is showing the love.

A couple of times a week for the grill and a couple of times a month for the smoker.

I use the propane grill one or two times a week and the pellet grill once or twice a month. Our grill sucks but I'm not going to get a new one until we move.

I have a tailgate sized Brownstone flattop and I'd like to get a full size one.

I'd charcoal every day if it was more convenient- tastes best. As far as my propane grill, use it once or twice a week year-round. A quick clean prior to grilling and then replace as needed. I get 4-5 years from a Home Depot/Lowe's end of season special.

I have a gas grill, pellet smoker and a Blackstone. In warm weather I use them at least a couple times a week, colder weather less frequently.
Nice thing about the smoker is it holds great temperature even when it’s cold.

I have a Weber kettle and would use it exclusively except for stupid fire code prohibiting its use in a multi-family dwelling.

A chimney starter makes a charcoal grill easy to use.

This sounds like a question at the doctor's office...about to lay down the health hammer.

I can neither confirm nor deny that I grill. And I'm glad you didn't asking about my smoker habit.
