Default Public service announcement for those of you that shop at Midwayusa

Here is the feedback i just posted on a barrel purchase:

"Do not buy this barrel or any match barrel or anything that you care about from MIdwayusa. I've been buying from them well over a decade, and there is a serious issue with their fulfillment and shipping department now. I received this barrel in an unprotected flat box that was crunched and destroyed. The wrapping for the barrel was stapled shut so obviously it was returned once already. The barrel was pushed through the wrapper. I returned for an exchange. They sent the exact same barrel back to me in the same unprotected box that was fattened and bent during shipping. I have other packages sent from them recently with no packaging protection in the box. They need to seriously look at their shipping department or they will lose customers. Sending this back for a refund this time and looking at another company for the rest of my orders."
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

You could try the "Wanted" section in the forum. Maybe someone has what you need.

They’re too preoccupied to ship quick than to ship properly.
Like Amazon, once they shipped a glass beaker in a padded envelope. Can you guess how that arrived..?

Not to be that guy, but was the barrel itself damaged in any way?

There is really no way of knowing if it was or wasn't damaged without installing it and firing rounds through it to see if it was still a sub MOA match barrel. I'm not going to waste my time and money to verify their mistake. If I purchase a $400 barrel, I expect it to be treated as such. If it was a cheap $100 AR15 556 AR Stoner barrel, I probably wouldn't have cared. I never had an issue with them until the past few months. Edit: Just a note, this is replacing a 308 barrel with a 6.5CM barrel on a long range $2500 build so there is an accuracy requirement, and it has to be perfect.

No visual damage other than the packaging was destroyed.

Brownell's was no better on a Ed Brown thread barrel I bought from my SA Loaded. Tossed in a box with other metal objects and there were two hefty dings in the feed ramp lip. Tried to get through to CS 3 or 4 times, hours on hold, then they would call back when I couldn't answer (once). Finally said F it and tuned it up myself. Shoots fine.
    My Feedback
Credit TFOGGER : Liberals only want things to be "fair and just" if it benefits them.
Credit Zundfolge: The left only supports two "rights"; Buggery and Infanticide.
Credit roberth: List of things Government does best; 1. Steal your money 2. Steal your time 3. Waste the money they stole from you. 4. Waste your time making you ask permission for things you have a natural right to own. "Anyone that thinks the communists won't turn off your power for being on COAR15 is a fucking moron."

If it got hit by a few things in a large box, that wouldn't have been as bad; annoying but not as bad. It was shipped in a 1" thick box the same length as the barrel that was flattened and destroyed. Both ends of the box were crunched around the barrel ends and the middle was completely flat...definitely could have been bent during shipping. I wish I could attach the pic. I lost my phone plowing last week so I don't have it anymore. I can see the mistake the first time, but sending back the same barrel in the same type of packaging (I included the old box in my return so they could see what happened) was absolute stupidity. The last few orders I've received from them have been packed poorly. Return labeled printed, put it back in their shitty box, and taped it up; I'm done with it and ordering anything of importance from them.

I don't have a pic of how it looked the first time with the crunched ends, but this is how it was sent back to me with the same packaging:
