So, I had stepped away from being active here for a couple of months.

Between the past couple of years worth of the covid mess and the passing of my father in July I wasn?t in the correct frame of mind to be engaging with people I don?t know well on a public forum.

This is an awesome community full of great people and I?d like to once again partake in the joy of these forums.

Before I do, I would like to personally apologize to anyone that I may have offended or argued with needlessly in the recent past. I have not been my normal chipper self for a little while now so I ask for forgiveness if I?ve been anything other than pleasant to any of you. If you feel I owe you a more personal apology please shoot me a PM and I will gladly accommodate you.

I lived in Puerto Rico when I was 10-12 years old, and one night I wake up and there are a bunch of people outside singing, and carrying on, on our porch.

Turns out there is a thing in Puerto Rico, called a Parranda, similar to our "Caroling," which I have never seen, where people come over, start singing, and demand that you let them in, and once in, they empty the liquor cabinet, and then move on to the next house.
